These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of uselocalframe.com and the services provided by UseLocalFrame ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What we offer
UseLocalFrame is a "demo-first" website service for local businesses. We build a real, working demo of your website within 24 hours. You only pay if you approve the demo and decide to launch.
Plans:
- Starter — $750 $499 setup + $99/month
- Growth — $1,500 $999 setup + $149/month
- Premium — $3,000 $2,500 setup + $249/month
Each plan's full feature list is on the pricing section of the Site.
2. Eligibility
You must be:
- At least 18 years old.
- Authorized to do business in the United States.
- The owner or authorized representative of the business whose website we'll build.
3. Demo and approval
When you submit a demo request, we build a real, deployable demo within 24 hours (business days). You'll receive a preview link.
- You can request edits, walk away, or approve.
- No payment is collected before approval.
- We retain the right to decline projects (e.g., disallowed content, suspected fraud).
4. Payment terms
Once you approve the demo:
- The setup fee is invoiced via Stripe (or another payment processor we use).
- Monthly billing starts after the site goes live.
- All fees are in US dollars and exclusive of applicable taxes.
- We may revise prices for new customers; existing customers keep their original pricing for at least 12 months unless materially renegotiated.
5. Refund policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the setup fee from the day your site launches. If you're not satisfied, email support@uselocalframe.com within 30 days of launch to request a refund.
Monthly fees are non-refundable once billed for that month, but you can cancel anytime to stop future billing.
6. Ownership and licensing
- Your content: You retain full ownership of any text, images, logos, or other materials you provide.
- The site we build: On full payment of the setup fee, ownership of the code, design, and copy we produce specifically for you transfers to you. You can export it and host it elsewhere if you ever leave.
- Our platform: We retain ownership of any reusable components, templates, or tools we use to build sites (not specific to your business).
7. Hosting and maintenance
Your monthly fee includes:
- Hosting and SSL.
- Performance monitoring.
- Security patches.
- Content updates within the scope of your plan.
We aim for 99.9% uptime, but make no formal SLA commitment. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime. Effects:
- Monthly billing stops at the end of the current period.
- Your site goes offline on our hosting at the end of the current period unless you migrate.
- We provide an export of your site's code and content within 7 days of cancellation.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our service for:
- Illegal content or activities.
- Content that infringes third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy).
- Distributing malware, spam, or phishing materials.
- Adult content, gambling, or other industries we may decline at our discretion.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We don't guarantee that the Site or your customer site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, though we work hard to make it so.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost revenue, lost data, or lost business opportunities.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
